Laurent Marchal brings 12 years of experience in high tech product management, sales and technical services. He was most recently VP, Product Management at Micromuse (NASDAQ: MUSE) for the core Netcool suite of product. At Micromuse, he started as System Engineer and was quickly promoted to Director and then VP, Technical Services to head and build the team that included channel support in EMEA. Before joining Micromuse, Laurent worked as a lead Telcommunication Engineer on Mercury Communications Ltd OSS systems. Before coming to the UK, he worked as a software developer for CSEE (Paris, France) where he was involved in the development of network management systems for France Telecom. Laurent received his qualifications in Telecommunications and Computer Science from ENSEEIHT (Toulouse, France) and his MSc in Telematics from Surrey University, United Kingdom.
