TKU April Extends Tideway’s Virtualization Coverage to Include IBM LPARs / WPARs and Citrix
Today we released the April Tideway Knowledge Update which extends Tideway’s coverage of virtualization products to include IBM AIX LPARs, WPARs and Citrix XenServer.
IBM AIX LPARs and WPARs is a great example of how Tideway works with with the software publisher to build patterns. In this case our TKU Developers spent time on site at the IBM Innovation Centre for Business Partners at Hursley, UK to access to System p hardware and to work with IBM’s System p Technical Consultants.
In addition to this we have released patterns for the following products:
- BMC Patrol / Performance Manager Agents – identify, version and model Performance Manager license entities based on installed Knowledge Modules
- BMC Performance Manager Portal – identify, version and map relationships to patrol Agents
- Citrix XenServer – identify editions, versions and map Citrix Control Domains dependencies to Citrix Enterprise Servers
- Citrix XenCenter – identify, version and map relationships to Citrix Enterprise Servers
- Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) – identify editions and version RAC and Cluster Manager
- Sun Management Center – identify, version server and agents
