Bio

Alex Horstmann is Irish, which should be quite obvious from the name and is Tideway’s Senior User Experience Engineer.

Previous to joining Tideway Alex worked for DSI, a US consultancy specialising in web applications whose clients included Avon Cosmetics, MasterCard, Figis and various large US insurance companies. Previous to this he was Internet Manager for Irelands largest recruitment company and Ireland largest independent radio station respectively. Alex does not wear green wellys or a peaked cap, nor does he say “top of the morning to ya”. He does however say things like “go on, go on, go on” and “you will, you will, you will” - but rarely when holding a pot of tea.
