Encryption between a credential slave and remote target.

Traffic between appliance and slave is encrypted. Is it possible to encrypt traffic between a credential slave being in the same DMZ as the appliance but the target server being in a separate dmz? In this deployment we are specifically, for security reasons not hosting the slave in the same dmz as the target server.

Using Tideway v7.1.1.

Not finding CPU and Memory information during HPUX discoveries

Hi, I am running the Community Edition 7.1.7 and I have been unable to get the discoveries to find CPU and Memory information for these HPUX Integrity servers. The models include HP RX5670, RX4640, RX7620, RX7640 and RX8640. Has anyone come across this ? Thanks !

discovery runs not starting

I entered a discovery run and it has not started for a few minutes.

the discovery run screen just hangs without displaying status information.

Here are a few guidelines and tips for getting the best response.

1) Include the Foundation Version

Please mention the version of Tideway Foundation you are using, such as 7.1.1 or 7.1.5
This is especially important if you are still using the older Tideway Foundation 6.x series as they are built on a different technology.

2) Include your Goal

Let us know what you are trying to achieve to help us understand and also in case we can think of an alternative way of reaching your goal.

3) Include a Search String

If you are looking for advice on reporting please include any Search Strings such as


SEARCH Host WHERE os_class = 'Windows' SHOW name

even if they don’t quite do what you want. Often it is the fastest way for others to understand and help.

4) Include a screen shot

If you click on the + in the options section (just below the main edit box) when posting a new topic or doing a reply you can use the “Attach files to this post…” to include a screen shot.
