Thanks for that info. Could you get us some sample data to check that the commands are running correctly?
To do this we would need to put your Foundation into Record mode. To do this follow these steps:
1) Go to the ‘Administration’ tab
2) Then ‘System Settings’ in the ‘Appliance’ section (system_settings_717.png)
3) Change the top option (‘Discovery Mode’) to ‘Record’ (discovery_mode_717.png)
4) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Apply’
Then we need to record a discovery of a machine. Just start a normal one for one or two of the machines, ideally a couple of different models.
Then we need to get the record data. To do this follow these steps:
1) Go to the ‘Administration’ tab
2) Then ‘Support Service’ in the ‘Appliance’ section (support_services_717.png)
3) In the ‘Target Host Data’ please tick the ‘Record Data’ option and put the IP’s you scanned in the ‘IP Range(s)’ field as a comma seperated list. (gather_record_717.png)
4) Give the archive a name and description in the ‘Create Archive’ area – the name needs to be a valid filename so stick to letters/numbers/underscore with no space. (gather_record_717.png)
5) Click the ‘Gather’ button. (gather_record_717.png)
6) After a short while your archive will appear at the top of the ‘Gathered Data Files’ list, click on the name to download it. (gather_record_717.png)
This will contain a unix tarball of the raw command output for us to check. If you’d rather send that via email then let me know and I’ll drop you an email with my address.
When you’ve finished feel free to go and reset the ‘Discovery Mode’ to ‘Normal’, it’s not essential but ‘Record’ does use slightly more disk space than ‘Normal’
